Bilingual families, those with relatives in countries speaking these languages, and visitors to these countries who just want to understand the people speaking around them will find the audio CDs invaluable.
The audio CDs will help you develop listening skills in a language that you have been studying, so that you can gradually absorb and understand it, as it is spoken.
By repeatedly listening to the audio story, and taking clues form the illustrations in the 'Alex and Friends' book, the story will slowly start to make sense to you so that you can follow it at the rate that it is spoken.
‘Alex and Friends’ is an illustrated storybook plus a series of audio CD books telling the story in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish or Russian.
The story uses every day, useful, language, and is told mostly in the present tense.
Translated and read to you by native speakers in each language, these CDs each contain a booklet with the transcript of the story in that language.
Suitable for children aged 7 to 70+.
